  13. Subject: anyone get SLIP to work with Chameleon??

  16. I've been trying to get Chameleon V4.00 to work over SLIP but am unable to
  17. get anything once I connect to the remote side. I have read all the script
  18. directions and have set up what I believe to be be a proper script, but
  19. when I dial the remote side, I get a connect 9600 then nothing even though
  20. I have the script set to send stuff. Here is my script:

  23. SCRIPT=-n $r$r$ CALPOLY> $c$r -i
  24. TYPE=SLIP

  26. It should immediately send two carraige-returns, and then when the CALPOLY>
  27. prompt appears, it should send the slip command which I have already set 
  28. as SLIP, then take the IP address that is given and make it the current 
  29. address.

  31. trouble is the script never sends anything! It connects and then nothing 
  32. happens...the modem doesn't finish the script, nothing ever even gets sent.
  33. Am I missing something here? If anyone can help me here, I would really 
  34. appreciate it.
